INGREDIENTS

  • Chicken: Rotisserie or cooked chicken help shorten the prep time. Plus it provides great flavor!
  • Alfredo Sauce: For this recipe, I used Carbone classic Alfredo sauce.
  • Cheese: Mozzarella and grated parmesan cheese add the classic chicken alfredo flavors to this dish.
  • Vegetables: Spinach is used for this dinner. However, you can also add additional vegetables that you want.
  • Biscuit: I use refrigerated 8 count biscuit dough that is cut into ¼ pieces. It will help give the "bubble up" effect.
  • Seasonings: This recipe uses Italian seasoning, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.

Then, cut raw biscuit dough into ¼ pieces for each biscuit and layer on top of chicken mixture.

Next, cover with aluminum foil, and cook for 35 min covered. After 35 minutes, remove the foil, then continue baking uncovered for another 5-10 minutes, until the biscuit cooks through completely.

    TIPS AND TRICKS

Chicken: For this recipe, I used premade cooked chicken to help decrease cooking time. However, you can easily use any type of cooked chicken you have on hand, such as rotisserie chicken, which adds even more flavor.

Alfredo Sauce: For this recipe, I like to use the Carbone classic Alfredo sauce. It helps provide the rich, creamy alfredo taste. However, an alternative jarred alfredo sauce can be used.

Leftovers: If you happen to have leftovers of this delicious chicken alfredo biscuit bake, simply store them in an airtight container in the refrigerator. They will stay fresh for up to 3-4 days and reheat well for an easy meal later on.
