HOW TO MAKE CROCKPOT COWBOY BUTTER STEAK BITES

First, in a crockpot, add rinsed potatoes into bottom of slow cooker.
Next, add 1 lb stew meat, seasonings, beef broth, dijon mustard, lemon juice, and worcestershire sauce to crockpot.
Then, cover and let it cook on low for 4-6 hours. I recommend letting this cook on low versus high, to help the potatoes cook thoroughly and enhance flavors in the dish.
Stir every couple hours to help prevent burning.
Finally, serve with your preferred sides or vegetables.
TIPS AND TRICKS
Cooking Time: For this crockpot cowboy butter steak bite recipe, I recommend cooking at a low temperature setting for 4-6 hours in the crockpot to make sure the potatoes and steak are cooked thoroughly.
Crockpot: For this slow cooker recipe, I used a 6 quart size crockpot. I recommend using a minimum of this size to help prevent overcrowding the ingredients.
Leftovers: Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3-4 days.
Additional topping: I like to add my Parmesan Cream Sauce from my Smothered Cowboy Butter Chicken recipe, to the top of the steak bites and potatoes for added flavor. It adds a great creamy, rich flavor to the top of this dish. I recommend halfing the original amount listed in the smothered cowboy butter chicken recipe. The ingredients are provided in the recipe card below.
