HOW TO MAKE EASY SMOTHERED COWBOY BUTTER BEEF PASTA

First, season chicken evenly on both sides with seasoning listed.
On a large cooking skillet on medium heat, drizzle olive oil to pan and cook chicken evenly on both sides, until it reaches an internal temp of 165 degrees.
Once chicken is cooked, remove from pan & let it rest. Do not cut chicken.
In the same pan, start making the smothered parmesan cream sauce.

Turn temperature down to low for skillet.
Once it has cooled, add 2 tablespoon salted butter to pan. Next, add 1 tablespoon minced garlic and diced yellow onion. Cook onion until translucent.
Next, add 2 tablespoons of all-purpose flour and stir it together with the onion and garlic. Then, slowly pour in 1 cup of chicken broth, continuing to stir until the flour fully dissolves and the sauce becomes smooth.
Add 1 cup room temperature heavy whipping cream. Next add 1 teaspoon garlic powder, 1 teaspoon Kinder's cowboy butter seasoning, salt and pepper to taste.

Next add ½ cup freshly grated parmesan cheese. Once it is well combined, add ½ lemon squeezed.
Stir together, and place chicken back in pan with sauce. Cover pan with lid and let it simmer on low for 5-10 min.
TIPS AND TRICKS
Serving: This Smothered Cowboy Butter Chicken is great with mashed potatoes, vegatables of your choice, rice, or diced cooked potatoes.
Cowboy Butter Seasoning: For this recipe, I like using the Kinder's Cowboy Butter seasoning. It provides the rich, smokey, comfort flavors for this recipe.
Cheese: For this recipe, I prefer using freshly shredded cheese, since it will provide a smoother consistency and will melt better. However, preshredded cheese will be good as well.
