HOW TO MAKE EASY SLOW COOKER CHICKEN PASTA

First, add chicken, marinara sauce, alfredo sauce and seasonings into the slow cooker. Then you'll cook the chicken for 2-3 hours on high or 3-4 hours on low.
Once chicken is cooked, turn heat down to warm and shred chicken.
Then in a large pot, boil the pasta until al dente. Strain water from cooked pasta and set aside.

Next, place shredded chicken back in slow cooker, and add cottage cheese for extra creamy consistency.
Finally, add cooked pasta into chicken mixture and mozzarella cheese.

TIPS AND TRICKS
Leftovers: Leftovers can be kept in an airtight, sealed container in the refrigerator for up to 4 days. It can be reheated in microwave.
Cooking: This slow cooker recipe can be cooked on low for 3-4 hours or high for 2-3 hours. I like to cook it on low if I have additional time, because it helps really enchance the flavors.
Pasta: For this recipe, I used protein pasta, however you can substitute for alternative pasta options such as regular penne, rigatoni, or fusilli pasta.
Slow Cooker: For this recipe, I do recommend using a 6 qt slow cooker size or higher due to the volume of food. This meal can feed up to 6 servings.
