Quick & easy: This recipe comes together in less than 30 minutes, with simple ingredients and minimal prep, making it perfect for those busy weeknights when you need dinner on the table quickly.
Family-friendly: The creamy, slightly sweet sauce has just a hint of heat, making it mild enough for kids but still flavorful enough that everyone will love it.

- Chicken Breast: I use chicken breast for this recipe, but chicken thighs make a great alternative.
- Seasonings: Garlic powder, salt, pepper, onion powder, and paprika season the chicken perfectly.
- Sauce: mayo, sweet chili sauce, siracha, lime juice, honey, and rice vinegar provide the sweet and spicy heat for the delicious sauce.
- Vegetables: This recipe pairs well with broccoli, carrots, cucumbers, and green onion.
HOW TO MAKE BANG BANG CHICKEN BOWLS
First, in a medium bowl, combine sauce ingredients (mayo, siracha, sweet chili, honey, garlic powder, onion powder, rice vinegar, and lime juice.) Let it sit in refrigerator to let it thicken up.
Next, cut chicken breast into strips, and season with salt, pepper, onion powder, garlic powder and paprika.
On a skillet over medium heat, add avocado oil or olive oil, and cook chicken until it reaches internal temperature of 165 degrees. Typically 5-6 minutes of cooking. Once chicken is cooked, set aside and let it rest.
Finally, add jasmine rice, roasted broccoli, chicken, and drizzle with bang bang sauce over green onions and sesame seeds.

TIPS AND TRICKS
Leftovers: Leftovers can be stored in an airtight, sealed container for 3-4 days in the refrigerator. This quick and easy bang bang chicken bowl is a great meal prep option to have during the week.
Sides: This recipe pairs well with jasmine rice and veggies. I like to make my rice in the instant rice cooker to cut down on time, and roast vegetables in the oven.
Spicy: If you prefer a less spicy version of this sauce, I recommend decreasing the amount of siracha used in this recipe. The siracha provides a good heat to the dish, however, it can become overpowering if too much is used.
