Ingredients
1lbground beef
⅓cupreduced sodium soy sauce
⅓cupbrown sugar
1teaspoonrice vinegar
¼cupdiced yellow onion
1tablespoonsesame oil
1teaspooncrushed red pepper
1-2tablespoonminced garlic
1teaspoonsesame seeds
salt & pepper to taste
1.5tablespoonginger paste
broccoli
shaved carrots
green onions
½tsp garlic powder
½ teaspoononion powder
Instructions
On a large skillet over medium heat, add sesame oil to pan. cook diced onions until translucent, and cook beef completely.
Add 1-2 tablespoon minced garlic.
in a separate bowl, combine soy sauce, salt, pepper, rice vinegar, onion powder, garlic powder, crushed red peppers, ginger paste, sesame seeds, and brown sugar. add 1 tablespoon cornstarch and 1 tablespoon cold water to create a slurry.
add slurry to sauce mixture, then add to ground beef in skillet.
add sliced carrots and it let simmer for 15-20 minutes.
top with green onions, and additional sesame seeds.
