INGREDIENTS
- Texas Toast: Thick cut, garlic texas toast provides the delicious base of the dish.
- Frozen Chicken Tenders: I like using Real Good's frozen chicken tenders in this recipe.
- Ranch Dressing: Creamy ranch dressing ties everything together and adds the classic tangy flavor that pairs perfectly with the chicken, bacon, and cheese.
- Bacon: Crispy bacon adds a smoky, savory crunch that makes every bite even more flavorful. Cook the bacon until crispy before chopping it into bite-sized pieces. Premade bacon bits are an easy alternative to make prep time even faster.
- Cheese: Mozzarella cheese provides the cheesy notes of the chicken bacon ranch.
- Seasonings: Italian seasoning & garlic powder is used in this recipe.
HOW TO MAKE CHICKEN BACON RANCH TEXAS TOAST

Start by preheating your oven according to the directions on the Texas toast package.
While the oven is preheating, cook frozen chicken tenders/nuggets in air fryer as stated on packaging. Once cooked, cut into smaller pieces. Can subtituted for rotisserie chicken as well.
Place frozen texas toast bread on 13x9 pan evenly. Bake for 6 minutes.

Next, remove toast from oven and then press down in the middle of each toast to create a bowl affect. However, do not press all the way through the toast.
Then, add layer of shredded mozzarella cheese. Next, add layer of cooked, chopped chicken and bacon bits. Then, add additional layer of mozzarella cheese.
After adding the final layer of cheese, sprinkle the tops with Italian seasoning and garlic powder to taste for even more flavor.
Return the Texas toast to the oven and bake for another 5-6 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly. For an extra crispy, golden top, broil on low for 2-3 minutes, keeping a close eye on it to prevent burning.
Finally, drizzle top of texas toast bites with ranch dressing.
TIPS AND TRICKS
Protein: For this chicken bacon ranch texas toast recipe, I used Real Good frozen chicken tenders. If you don't have frozen chicken tenders, shredded rotisserie chicken or another frozen chicken option works just as well. All will provide the same delicious taste!
Ranch Dressing: For this recipe, I used Ken's Buttermilk Ranch Dressing, however any ranch dressing will work. You can easily swap a few ingredients to make this recipe even more budget-friendly.
Leftovers: Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 3-4 days. However, I recommend reheating leftovers in the oven or air fryer for a more crunchy toast. If it is reheated in the microwave, it will likely be softer.
