Jump to RecipeINGREDIENTS
- Oats: Rolled oats create the hearty texture of the baked oatmeal. I recommend avoiding quick oats, since they tend to get more mushy.
- Blueberry: Fresh or frozen blueberries add a great and fresh flavor to this breakfast.
- Vanilla: enhances the flavors in the baked oatmeal to give it that sweet flavor.
- Dairy: Milk and greek yogurt are used in this recipe.
HOW TO MAKE THIS BLUEBERRY BAKED OATMEAL

First, preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Then in a mixing bowl, combine all ingredients listed above except blueberries and flour.
Next, in a separate small bowl, coat blueberries in flour. Make sure it is evenly coated. This will help prevent the blueberries from sinking to the bottom of the baked oatmeal.
Spray 8x8 pan with olive oil spray, and add mixture to pan.

Spread evenly & add chocolate chips on top.
Finally, bake for 35-40 minutes uncovered. Let it rest for 10-20 minutes after.
TIPS AND TRICKS
Leftovers: Any remaining leftover blueberry baked oatmeal can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 4 days.
Oats: For this recipe, I recommend using rolled oats instead of quick oats. Quick oats can get mushy and affect the texture of the breakfast bake.
Blueberries: Fresh or frozen blueberries are used. However, I recommend coating the blueberries with flour to help prevent them from sinking to the bottom of the pan when baking.
