TIPS AND TRICKS
Leftovers: Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 3-4 days. This quick hot honey beef bowl also makes a great meal prep option to enjoy throughout the week.
Protein: I recommend using lean ground beef to help decrease the amount of grease in skillet.
Sour Cream: If you're looking for a healthier alternative to sour cream, you can easily swap in Greek yogurt or creamy cottage cheese. Not only do these options add a boost of protein, but they also still deliver the same rich, delicious flavor!

Is hot honey a specific ingredient? Or do you mix spice into the honey? Also could you use regular honey instead of hot honey to make it less spicey?
Meghankay says
Hi! yes hot honey is a specific ingredient. It can be found at any local grocery store. It does have some heat to it, so if you prefer a less spicy option, I recommend regular honey or omitting it 🙂

How much beef…I’m dying to make this!
Meghankay says
1 lb ground beef! I'll add it in the recipe card 🙂
Katie says
I don’t see hot honey in the recipe- do you just add it on top after?
Meghankay says
Hi! yes you add the hot honey on top of the bowl once it is all assembled. 🙂
